A two track EP of experimental jazz and drone. For fans of Faust and David Lynch. both tracks are over 20 minutes long and traverse a tranquil and a harsh soundscape.
A Hymn Supreme Pt. 1
The first track starts of with the hymn supreme being read out from a church pew with some discordant percussion. Then a saxophone ushers in an angelic drone. As the gospel ends the sax mixes with a spooky accordian and mellows out into an ethereal melange of calm mixed with stabs of noise.
A Hymn Supreme Pt. 2
We are now transported via static to eerie vocals and electronic/feedback loops. The second sermon is backed by a gothic organ and a mix of chaos/peaceful/unsettling drone. When we get back to the church, there is a realisation and a sudden hysteria when the subject is fully indoctrinated and the hymn is complete.
