An unannounced brand spanked new album from COMMUTED (well, a month old, ive only just got around to doing this)

The new album consists of 8 new tracks and is the 5th Album to be released.

It's part post-emo, part lofi and feels like it could have been released circa 2007 in a nostalgic good way. Most of the tracks are about two minutes long and overall is less frantic and more mellow than previous albums.

Some of my fave tracks from the album are:

Running away from my life - a mix of some droney blaring keys and gentle acoustic guitar, which lyrically feels like a reflection on lengthy touring schedules as a means of escape?

I am an alien - Lofi and with some lovely bit-distortion and a shared screamo chorus with guest vocalist from "Treehouse of Horror"

The whole album blazes by in just 17 minutes and is well worth giving a listen and seeing a live show if you can.
