The Support was a band called Bed
Bed are a Japanese post trance-punk band with a full on 90's Matrix aesthetic. Sounds like a Juno Reactor song but cooler
I can't find that much on this band online, all I could find is a Reddit post from 2 years ago that said they are part of a DIY scene in Tokyo and organised secret raves.
Pyncher are a Manchester band which have been around for a few years but I have not had the chance to see them yet until today.
I'd class them as Post-punk, Psychy, Fuzzy Wonksters
They opened with the new single 'Space Rocket Simulator' which kicks off with some stabby guitar, leading into some jangly spacey chorus.
There is a prominent bass leading most of the tracks backed up by a synth. They have a spooky but whimsical vibe with some stop/starts-loud/quiet bits before getting back into gear again.
The Lead singer (Sam Blakeley) has got a bit of a 60's Dylan Energy - but if Lucozade Orange was invented then.
The drummer is called Jack Rainbow. Who is definitely a spy.
Great set from both bands, Definitely looking forward to seeing them again and hopefully a new EP to go with the new single.
