Who are O.? They are a twO piece band from London, One saxophonist and one drummer.
They mostly play experimental Jazzy punk with fast thrashy drums, but they have a mix of slow almost dub style tracks and some with a fast chaotic buildup.
I don't really understand what is going on with the sax, but it's a Baritone sax (I think) played through a synth which creates something magical. For parts of the song it's the booming bass in the background and then it's the lead instrument again.
The Cymbals on the drum kit also had swiss cheese hOles on it.
Two piece bands are a rarity but they can make enough noise for 4 bands put together. The room they played in YES was the smaller basement room compared to the Pink Room but it was a sold out show (the first on the tour), and they really got the crowd buzzed.

Their debut album 'WeirdOs' is out on the 21st of June 2024 and they are playing Manchester Psych Festival this year
