Little Grandad is a new band from London. I've not seen or heard of them before tonight but they were part of the Hot Take Night in yes basement which promotes new and upcoming bands for a very reasonable price of 5 Pounds. (check it out!)
They have a 90's alt rock vibe, sometimes a bit weezery, sometimes a bit pearl jammy and a little country thrown into the mix.
Show me how to feel is one of my favourites sung by the rhythm guitarist. All of the band gets involved in some nice harmonies and on one or two tracks there was a trumpet added as a little side dish of brass.
They don't have any tracks released yet that I can find but I've listened to this today from the Windmill recorded this January?
Defo one to follow this year and looking forward to a studio recording from the band
